Medium-sized multi-purpose pressure tank, efficient and cost-effective. The Challenger tanks feature a patented CAD-2 controlled-action diaphragm assembly: a chlorine-resistant 100% butyl diaphragm with a precision-moulded copolymer polypropylene lining ensures excellent separation of air and water. The diaphragm assembly is compressed by a form-fitting internal locking ring that retains the drawdown water in a pre-charged air atmosphere. This air-cushion construction prevents condensation problems; the air chamber is sealed leak-free and maintenance-free with a fixed O-ring and closed-cell foam.
